Cura vs Prusaslicer Comparison
When it comes to 3D printing software, Cura and Prusaslicer are two of the most popular options. Recently Cura skipped a lot of layers so I decided I want to give Prusaslicer a try.
While there are not as many printers supported as in Cura most Creality printers are available. My Anycubic Kobra Go is not supported yet but I will share my profile here once I got it all set up.
One area where Prusaslicer has an advantage over Cura is in the quality of the prints. Even though both slicers can produce prints with a 0.8mm nozzle and have some stringing issues, the prints from Prusaslicer tend to be slightly better. However, it's worth noting that both slicers require some manual fine-tuning of the profile to get optimal results.
